Providence, RI Tank Installations & Removal
Providence was founded in 1636 by Roger Williams. Being the state capitol of the “Smallest State” of Rhode Island, Providence carries a big personality. Providence was one of the first cities in the nation to industrialize, being known for its jewelry and silverware industry. After the Great Depression, Providence’s economy fell into a steep decline. It wasn’t until the 1970’s the Providence entered its Renaissance with help from beloved and notorious mayor Vincent ”Buddy” Cianci. Providence boasts eight hospitals and several colleges, such as Brown University, Johnson & Wales University, Providence College, Rhode Island School of Design and Rhode Island College. Providence is a haven for food lovers, boasting the most coffee shops and restaurants per capita. The city hosts Water Fires throughout the summer, and is home to Roger Williams Park, Water Place Park and The Providence Performing Arts Center.
